Pancake Feed today Can you smell the sausage yet? Yes, indeed the Men
of English will be serving pancakes and sausage and giving the proceeds to the benevolences of ELCB. Please stay and enjoy fellowship and food.
The
Page Turners Will be meeting on December 14th (revised date) at the home of Marge Bunce. The featured book is The Shack by
Wm. P. Young.
A grieving father receives a suspicious note, apparently from God, inviting
him to meet in the Oregon wilderness where his daughter
has been abducted and murdered. In a world where religion seems to grow increasingly irrelevant, "The Shack" wrestles with
the timeless question, "Where is God in a world so filled with unspeakable pain?"
Food
Pantry Sunday: December 13, 2009
The Sunday school children are again volunteering to push the food cart down the aisle on Sunday, December 13. Our local food pantries rely on your generous donations to meet the increased demands
for their services this time of year. Please consider making a non-perishable
food or toiletry product donation.
“I was hungry and you gave me food,
I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me.” — Matthew 25:35
