Announcements for, November 8, 2009
Altar Guild News Today the Altar Guild committee will be meeting after the worship
service in front of the sanctuary. At this meeting we will be (1) setting up the schedule for December and (2) signing up
for the months in 2010. Also other items will be discussed and announced.
If you are unable to attend - please contact Carol at 715-723-4970. New members are
always welcome—please join us on the 8th of November.
Caring Ministry Revisited For many years the Caring Ministry team visited members of our congregation who were not able
to physically attend service or church sponsored events. During the Vision planning session it was decided that services to
home bound members could be improved. The Vision team members have decided that they would like to reinvent the Caring Ministry
Team and provide more services. Once a month starting in December communion will be brought to any member that is home bound.
In order for this to happen we need to identify those congregational members that would be willing to do a home visit after
service a few times a year. Congregational members that are willing to help out must attend a one-hour meeting on December
1st at 7:30pm for training. If you are one of those member that would like to help out please contact Jack or Karen Rokser
at 723-7904 or Email rokser@charter.net
The
Page Turners will be
meeting on November 16th, Monday evening 7: p.m. at Carol and Ian Turner's home to discuss THE GLASS CASTLE by Jeanette Walls. Please join us for a lively discussion!

We can share ideas and enjoy a relaxing morning in fellowship. Lunch will be provided. Contact Sheri Wahlin for more information
at 715-720-1570. Please sign up to reserve your space.
E-mail list update In an effort to cut our cost and better improve our communication
we are trying to put together an Email list for the congregation. This list would only be used for church related business
and would not be shared with anyone else. Please email me and I will include you on the list. If you do not have email we
will try to find other ways to communicate with you. If you do not want your name on an email list please let me know that
also. Please Email me at rokser@charter.net. Thanks Jack Rokser

Caregiving and receiving Would you be willing to give a few hours of time now and then to help
the elderly and people with disabilities? On the other hand, are you in need of services of a volunteer caregiver for transportation
